Shapeshifters

Human beings aren’t easy to mimic, even for an advanced alien civilization such as the shapeshifting reptilians from Draco or Orion. They are much better off imitating stray dogs or wild animals. They shouldn’t try to be human when they’re not; however, people say they do try to fool us. They have many advantages when they can pass for human beings, but it’s risky for them. No matter how advanced their technology, or how forceful their ability is to control our minds, simple flaws in their behavior can betray them. They have to learn from their mistakes— the same as us. Watch to see if they blink a bit too much, or if, instead of paying attention, they seem to be listening to a remove advisor. Is your co-worker or acquaintance too perfect? Does it tell you about their grandmother even though you didn’t ask? Does anything slip from their mouths that they shouldn’t have known? Do their pupils dilate and contract in response to changes in the light? Moreover, always, rely less on your mind and more on your senses. The odor of an alien is difficult to disguise, so use your nose. However, whatever you do, don’t let on that you know, and you’d be in horrible danger if you told anyone.
