There’s a small town near San Miguel Allende, where people say an old man can cure any disease. People whom he’s treated say all he does is trace patterns on your skin— not just on your back, but up and down your arms and legs and it’s a different pattern for each person he treats. This guy’s the only person who knows how to do it. He won’t let anyone watch him work, and he won’t take an apprentice. When he dies, if he dies, the secret will die with him.
