Pseudorandom testamentsAbout this book
These poems have been inspired by random selections from the Old Testament books of the Christian Bible. These are no substitutes for studying the original verses.
When you touch or hover over the small information symbol in the footer, the original verse, from the King James Version, appears. In later seventeenth-century editions, when the KJV was printed in roman type, italics were used to distinguish text that was supplied by the translators, thought to be needed for readers in English, but not present in the Greek or Hebrew.
The cover features the upper part of the frontispiece of the King James Bible printed in 1611 by Robert Barker.

The poet
Tom Sharp is a Native American of Aleut heritage, a member of Seldovia Village Tribe.
