I can see when a patient’s urine looks a little weak. That’s why the ladies of society ask for me. I keep a small model of a woman’s anatomy and have them point at the model where they hurt. The main thing is not to cure them; that usually isn’t possible; it’s to reassure, to make them happy. Most of what passes for illness passes on its own within a fortnight.
