I think the professors here in Bologna intend to overload us with old tomes until we rebel against the past. The ancient philosophers could claim anything they liked but we are more careful now to discern the truth. I’ve learned Latin and Greek. I’ve even begun to dream in Latin. My brother on the farm near Leipzig would be amazed.
