Wealthy Skoropadskyi owns a village but thinks he’s a man of the people. Whenever he leaves a building, he waves to the empty space as though he had adoring fans. He’s not even worth pitying. He knows how to fool fame. He thinks men at the pub adore him, but it’s because he buys the vodka. Meanwhile, his accountants are raising taxes on the pub owner and shaking down the widows. He has a retinue whose unwritten job is to make sure nobody spits on him. Actually, he deserves worse than that. His total worth to humanity is less than a piece of rotten sausage.
