Jay Cornish was a summer guide familiar with the lakes around Lincoln for fishing and hunting duck. He had a pickup, a small outboard, and three retrievers, all Labradors— all a man who loved the outdoors needed. He grew old on the lakes in the summers, and he grew old in the winters drinking beer at the Forester Pub.
