If there were a non-falsifiable story to confirm your fears and distrust, and to validate your suspicions, you may think if you accept it, then you’re just being smart. You may only need to overlook how improbable it is. Well, that and the fact that you’ll be falsely blaming persecuted racial or religious groups of an active role in your suffering and dehumanizing them. No need to think hard about it. You’re in a growing company; more and more people are relying on these fabricated narratives.
