Artistic failure

Her teachers told her she would always be a failure. Instead of letting others interpret her work as they would, she made her meaning all too obvious. She gave each work a descriptive title. She painted arrows for movements and relations. She gave every significant item and part of her works a number or letter, and always added a color-coded legend or key leaving nothing to the imagination. Another artist did the same thing but made obvious mistakes and told everyone she deliberately mislabeled everything. This one all the teachers approved.
