Invisible lives

Thoughts of the interiors of hopes people our lives, while poets strive to reveal what they may not understand, and artists strive for their visible evocations. People live their unrecorded lives without notice. They are neither fantastic nor famous nor do they mimic the heroes and heroines of dramas or novels. They act without speaking of it; no exterior monologue testifies to their secret hopes or fears. They have their own concerns and their own invisible abilities, including living in an interior world that they may choose not to share, especially with poets and artists. Poets and artists, too, may be unaware of the invisible gods and monsters that they have kept locked away.
