Stranger

Who can say who suffers more? All of us cried out as we were pulled from the womb, we all were confused and were never told why, but nobody can describe a stranger’s pain. Time and distance, lies and secrets, there is much we don’t say, can’t say, won’t say, like listening to the stars in the sky at night and not hearing anything from the moon. Separate lives and opaque thoughts separate us. All of us are in rooms with one-way mirrors. We live our own lives and can’t go back.
