Plantain in the rain garden

I’ve let one grow large in our rain garden because my sister told me the plant is beneficial. Buckhorn, ribleaf, or lamb’s tongue, also called English, narrowleaf, or ribwort plantain, this one has grown over two-feet tall with over a hundred flower stems. Tea from the leaves helps with a cough. Leaves on the skin helps with an insect bite. Native to temperate Eurasia, widespread in the British Isles, where children use it to play games.
