Tralee, Ireland

Cayce always wanted to be a printer, so when his uncle left him a little money he moved to Tralee and bought a small press. He started printing poems on single sheets of fine paper and gave them away. He took small jobs— wedding announcements, menus, and business cards, even though they didn’t pay. He tried only to break even. He enjoyed the design, the setup, and working with his hands, and the surprise for him was he enjoyed the people. He enjoyed a job well done but he enjoyed even more seeing their satisfaction.
