Kevin kept an inn in Keswick above a pub. Aside from replacing maids, clerks, and bartenders and calling in plumbers now and then, he did nothing more challenging than staying sober before five. It was a contemplative endeavor and not meant for one with introspective habits. Fortunately, Kevin loved to talk, and he loved listening as much as talking.
