People of Benevolence

People in wet regions worship a sun god; people in dry regions worship a rain god. These gods can be both benevolent and violent. Worship attempts to encourage the benevolent behaviors. But some gods are different; they aren’t violent at all. The People of Benevolence try to work with the violent gods. They try to help them explore the roots of their anger. Scorching heat, lightning, floods, none of these behaviors are really necessary. The people hold up the benevolent gods and point out that people love them. They try to convince the violent gods that they’d be happier if they were nicer.
