The Matriarchy admits men into their sanctuaries, but doesn’t permit men in positions of leadership. Credit is given to men but only begrudgingly after all the women are duly acknowledged. Whatever woman refuses to acknowledge the Matriarchy must rise above her oppressors, and whatever man refuses to do so is a small person. The Matriarchy condemns male-dominated religions and political organizations including the Catholic Church with its all male cardinals and the pope. After all, they say, all life comes from women and is given direction by Gaia.
