Doctrine of Meta

The first Metist realized you can make a religion out of any belief, but then she saw people would believe what she had just realized. Believers in the doctrine of Meta seek statements of truths that are true of themselves. These can be simple reflexive tautologies or complex systems of thought. They say, “Either we are loved, or nobody cares about us, which is unlikely.” They sing, “The part we sing, in standard feet, can move the heart, maintain the beat.”
