This is the month in which the seventh and tenth Sikh gurus didn’t really die. Har Krishan became the eighth guru. Hindu women fast on the fourth day. Hindu mothers fast on the eighth day. The thirteenth day is for cleaning houses. On the fifteenth, Hindus celebrate Diwali, the victory of light over darkness.
