Kudzu vines Tom Sharp

Yellow birds gather and sing on the lush kudzu vines throughout this valley. Here we cut the kudzu, wash the vines, and make them into linen. Even coarse kudzu linen feels comfortable on the skin. I tell my teacher I’m going home. I should wash my clothes but I can’t wait for them to dry.
