The duke took his favorite son for a hunt on his estate. They went out in a carriage drawn by four large steeds. Beaters flushed out a large and powerful buck. The duke told his son how to draw his bow and shoot it. They walked together, while their hounds stayed in the embroidered carriage, the four steeds at ease.
驷驖孔阜,六辔在手。 公之媚子,从公于狩。 奉时辰牡,辰牡孔硕。 公曰左之,舍拔则获。 游于北园,四马既闲。 輶车鸾镳,载猃歇骄。
