Visiting Daming Temple Tom Sharp

This is my third visit to this temple in Jiangsu that my old mentor, Quyang Xiu, built. He’s been dead for ten years, and half my life has passed in a snap. Some things are meant to last— dragons flying on a wall, the spring breeze in willows. Don’t say it’s all over after you die when it’s all a dream as you live it.
