Remembering Tom Sharp

It’s been a while since we said goodbye but I remember still, on top of the tower, a thousand miles away, the bright moon and the songs we sang together. They follow me everywhere, but now, when I raise my cup of wine there’s no one for me to share it with. I pull aside the bead curtain of my room and stare at my reflection. A cloud rolls away from the moon; moonlight shines on the river. Who will remember this with me?
