They say we don’t use most of our brainpower. If so, then aliens probably use it. We already knew aliens can read minds and they can erase memories. It wouldn’t be too much more to accept that they can program the unused parts of our brains. Alien programs give us the illusion of success. They give us confidence and dreams. They make sure their presence and their actions continue to be unnoticed. They make us think we don’t have to worry.
