Footprints

On small islands of the Hebrides, since the year of 1848 or so, people walking on a beach or stepping out from the rain and looking back at their footprints were sometimes confused by how many footprints were there. In addition to their own prints, they saw another set of prints, shown to be from a pair of wellies, size five, which would fit a child, only no child is ever seen.
