New recruits to the Parisian police are issued spray cans and tag names. They are required to spend at least two hours every week for their first two years tagging fences and storefronts. They are trained in how to slip past CCTV cameras and how to avoid being caught. After this initiation, they get to pursue the city’s teens and underemployed and try to blame them for city’s graffiti.
