Almost all of the denizens of the forest and caves and trolls who live under bridges, are peaceful creatures. They don’t want any trouble; they’d prefer nobody noticed them. This is why the Sasquatch family, the Yeti family, and Australian Yowies are so elusive. Human beings have an unfortunate propensity to think that other creatures are violent and want to eat us. In reality, trolls and the like have learned long ago we’re not very tasty.
