An inveterate gambler in New York City (who didn’t want to give his name) said that a friend of his claimed he once had in his hand a dollar bill that depicted George Washington with a wink. It was an old bill, likely one of very few. His friend swore that the bill wasn’t faked, but looked exactly like an original etching, except that George was winking. Anyway, his friend had a bit of arthritis and as soon as he touched the bill his arthritis pain went away. Unfortunately, accidentally, he gave it as a tip to a cab driver which he didn’t realize until later. When you get a dollar bill, you should always check it to see whether George is winking.
