Seaford, Delaware

Most of the people whom Jerome knew went through their lives as though they lived and worked in the mountains. But Seaford was along the Nanticoke River leading to the Chesapeake Bay and Jerome owned a rowboat. From the boat ramp on Nanticoke Avenue, Jerome imagined that he could row up Deep Creek to Concord Pond, enjoy a loaf of bread, a bottle of wine, sleep on a grassy hillside, and then float home the next day.
