Great men and women

We have unjustly made only a few men and women great. Look at how everyone else suffers; they suffer with the so-called best. They tolerate, for their loved ones, a lot of crap—cheap apartments, low pay for menial jobs, even direct condescension. Judge them not by their glory; they live their lives without glory. They don’t expect accolades, awards, titles, or sinecures, but they still press on; they press over and above.
