Service animals

Any domesticated animal can be trained. Some wild animals can be trained, but this is risky. There’s a risk that their conditioning will be weaker than their instincts. It all depends on the circumstances, and you don’t want that. You want its behavior to be predictable. In a sense, all domesticated animals are service animals, but an animal that is trained to help a person with a disability is a special animal. Its training is particular to the person and the person’s disability.
