15: Definition

We argue although we probably agree except for what use to make of our distinctions. You apply the quality to writing that succeeds as it relates to what we can experience directly. I hold up the thing itself, which does not represent a thing. You want a set of rules that people who don’t understand can follow. For me, one cannot legislate or measure it. Any measure can be copied but not the quality itself. No one wins an argument about a definition. In our private thoughts we make of it whatever we need. A poem is an example only of a poem, not of an argument, no matter how discursive, or how convincing, no matter how it breaks the rules, if it succeeds.
