Max had forgotten what it was like to be intellectually challenged. His home schooling was carefully paced to progress at his own speed, whatever that speed was. But when the first summer session began, Max attended lectures by the professor and couldn’t follow it all. Too much information, too fast. This gave him a shock which kept him awake studying his textbooks all night.
