载驰载驱，归唁卫侯。 驱马悠悠，言至于漕。 大夫跋涉，我心则忧。 既不我嘉，不能旋反。 视而不臧，我思不远。 既不我嘉，不能旋济。 视而不臧，我思不閟。 陟彼阿丘，言采其蝱。 女子善怀，亦各有行。 许人尤之，众穉且狂。 我行其野，芃芃其麦。 控于大邦，谁因谁极？ 大夫君子，无我有尤。 百尔所思，不如我所之。

Riding swiftly (literal translation)

Riding swiftly, I return to mourn the Duke of Wei. My horses trot slowly as I arrive at Cao. The officials travel arduously, and my heart is filled with sorrow. Since you do not approve of me, I cannot turn back. Seeing your disapproval, my thoughts are not far-reaching. Since you do not approve of me, I cannot cross the river. Seeing your disapproval, my thoughts are not concealed. I climb that sloping hill, to gather the mugwort. Women are prone to melancholy, and each has her own path. The people of Xu criticize me, for being childish and reckless. I travel through the fields, where the wheat grows luxuriantly. I appeal to the great state, but who will help me, who will support me? O officials and gentlemen, do not find fault with me. All your thoughts are not as good as my intentions.
