东门之墠 诗经

东门之墠,茹藘在阪。 其室则迩,其人甚远。 东门之栗,有践家室。 岂不尔思,子不我即。

Terrace by East Gate (literal translation)

The terrace by East Gate, with wild herbs growing on the slope. The house is near, but the person is far away. The chestnuts by East Gate, some have been trampled on. How could I not think of you, yet you do not come to me.
