Cutting sandalwood (literal translation)

Chop, chop, I cut down sandalwood trees, placing them on the riverbank; the river water is clear and rippling. Neither sowing nor reaping, yet you take three hundred sheaves of grain. Neither hunting nor trapping, yet I see a badger hanging in your courtyard. That old lord, he doesn’t eat without someone doing the work. Chop, chop, I cut sandalwood spokes, placing them beside the river; the river water is clear and straight. Neither sowing nor reaping, yet you take three hundred billion sheaves of grain. Neither hunting nor trapping, yet I see a quail hanging in your courtyard. That old lord, he doesn’t eat without someone doing the work. Chop, chop, I cut sandalwood wheels, placing them on the riverbank; the river water is clear and flowing. Neither sowing nor reaping, yet you take three hundred granaries of grain. Neither hunting nor trapping, yet I see a quail hanging in your courtyard. That old lord, he doesn’t eat without someone doing the work.
