Carriages stand side by side, horses with white manes. I have not yet seen the virtuous one, only his eunuch’s order. On the slope grows lacquer, in the marsh grows chestnut. Having seen the virtuous one, we sit together playing the zither. If we are not joyful now, the departed will soon be old. On the slope grows mulberry, in the marsh grows poplar. Having seen the virtuous one, we sit together playing the reed pipe. If we are not joyful now, the departed will soon be gone.
