Life refreshed Tom Sharp

The sky is like a partridge breast. Through a break between the trees I see the sun shining on a mountain. Bamboo hides my garden wall where grass is withered and cicadas cry for attention. White birds visit from time to time; the pond’s still surface reflects a lotus blossom. Outside the village wall, an old man walks with a cane squinting in the setting sun. It rained at three this morning, so now the air is cool; another day, my life refreshed.
