有王长官者，弃官黄州三十三年，黄人谓之王先生。因送陈慥来过余，因为赋此。 三十三年，今谁存者？算只君与长江。 凛然苍桧，霜干苦难双。 闻道司州古县，云溪上、竹坞松窗。 江南岸，不因送子，宁肯过吾邦？ 摐摐，疏雨过，风林舞破，烟盖云幢。 愿持此邀君，一饮空缸。 居士先生老矣！真梦里、相对残釭。 歌声断，行人未起，船鼓已逄逄。

Full Fragrant Court · 33rd year (literal translation)

There is a chief official named Wang who has been in Huangzhou for 33 years. The people of Huangzhou call him Mr. Wang. He sent his son to me, so I wrote this poem. After 33 years, who is left now? Only you and the Yangtze River. The majestic green cypress, the frosty branches and the sufferings are both there. I heard that the ancient county of Sizhou has pine windows on the Yunxi River and the bamboo grove. On the south bank of the Yangtze River, if it weren’t for sending your son, would you rather pass by my country? Knock, knock, the sparse rain has passed, the wind and the trees are dancing, and the smoke covers the clouds. I would like to hold this poem to invite you to drink from the empty jar. Mr. Jushi is old! In a real dream, we are facing each other with a broken lamp. The singing has stopped, the pedestrians haven’t gotten up yet, but the boat drums are already beating.
