This story originated in a small park in London. Several nannies reported that were strolling with their charges, sometimes in a carriage, sometimes in hand, when, for a moment, they were distracted. When they looked up they said they saw a baby standing on a park bench ahead who then jumped off the bench. Abandoning their charges, the women ran up to the bench but the baby wasn’t there.
