Beverly said she never slept. She went to bed and did the crosswords. They were all completed in the morning so of course she did them all. She might have closed her eyes for only a minute, no more than that. Beverly’s boyfriend, Bill, thought she might be sleepwalking, or she might have a trauma that affects her memory. He didn’t suspect that anyone entered her bedroom at night and did the crosswords for her.
