A popular explanation for the inadequacies of U. S. systems (governmental, healthcare, business, traffic management, and so forth) is that Russians create these problems. Russian spies infiltrate our companies; Russian businessmen bribe our officials; Russians use sex to corrupt our politicians; Russian hackers break our internet; Russian students sabotage our research labs; and common Russians scam our citizens. Everything that’s wrong here, the corruption and mismanagement, is because of the Russians, but neither the CIA nor our elected officials will admit that this is true because they’re managed by the Russians.
