Tall and slender, clad in brocade robes, daughter of the Marquis of Qi, wife of the Marquis of Wei, younger sister of the Crown Prince, aunt of the Marquis of Xing, and the concubine of Duke Tan. Her hands were like tender shoots, her skin like congealed cream, her neck like a cicada’s, her teeth like melon seeds, her forehead broad and her eyebrows arched, her smile enchanting, her eyes beautiful and captivating. This tall and imposing woman, dignified and graceful, strolled in the countryside, four proud horses prancing, her red tassels fluttering, her pheasant-feathered robes adorning her court, the officials having already retired, lest the lord be burdened. The river flowed wide and deep, rushing northward, nets cast with a swishing sound, sturgeon and tuna leaped, reeds and rushes swayed, the beautiful women were numerous and charming, the men were vigorous and graceful.
