Maybe all young men are lost, wandering in a wild, uncultivated land, so should I blame nature, father, or was it my own weaknesses? I loved a bird who flew away. I tried to follow but was lost. I wouldn’t lock her in a cage and I couldn’t find her in the wild. I listen at night for her call, but the sun has set, I’m alone, and the wilderness is immense. Do I hear your sighs or my own?
